Vastra Sanskriti a part of DIFI DIGITAL FASHION PART PVT LTD is a sustainable fashion distribution company that is committed to preserving traditional crafts and promoting sustainable practices in the fashion industry. Our vision is to create a world where fashion is sustainable, inclusive, and ethically responsible.
Our mission is to work with artisans and small communities to design and create garments and accessories that are not only stylish and high-quality, but also produced in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. But sustainability isn't just about the environment. It's also about supporting communities and promoting economic growth. That's why we work with artisanal communities throughout India to create unique, handcrafted products that showcase their skills and traditions. By buying from Vastra Sanskriti, you are not only supporting sustainable fashion, but also helping to provide livelihoods for these talented artisans. We are primarily a software development and data analytics firm with a compassionate and socio-economic approach toward the implementation side of data analytics. We are a company that strongly believes in fieldwork than just paperwork. With ever learning approach of our founder director, for 20 years, and with contributions from more than 1000 interns and around 100 professionals, we have successfully implemented, managed, and transferred technologies to various government and non-government agencies. Every project handled by us was a unique and satisfying experience for both parties, our client and our development and implementation team. You can visit our website www.embeddedcreation.in for the list of successful projects/awards and achievements. Coming to the world of textiles, we were introduced to this amazing world in 2018. We got a chance to design and develop a web portal for the granting of electrical subsidies to all eligible units under the then-existing textile policy. With successful implementation and backend support in the smooth handling of this portal we were introduced to the heritage art of handloom and from there we started our journey of blending fashion with data analytics and Information Technology. The journey into the handloom sector was a bumpy camel ride in sand dunes but equally enjoyable as it has the dimension of rich Indian heritage art of weaving world-class quality cotton or silk fiber into equally gorgeous, graceful, and elegant garments like karvati kinar or paithani. The vibrant colors of paithani and composed colors of tussar touched the artist side of our technical team and we decided to dive deep into this amazing yet complex sector of sustainable fashion. The preliminary analysis of the handloom market presented very funny and skewed results, which were challenging in themselves. The most challenging part was the interpretation of charts which on one side showed respect, honor, grace, and dignity for handloom products and yet rock-bottom social status for the weaving community. The art and artisans who enjoyed “Rajashray” for weaving garments for the kings and queens and the elite class of society are now in shambles even though the stature of their work is still being enjoyed by the elite class only. The analysis leads to the first conclusion which is the Lost connectivity between the producer and the consumer, the “Hira” and the “Johari”. When we talk about art and its market, we need to understand that things work out well only when the buyer and the producer both are well-versed in quality parameters, efforts, talent, and skill requirements, along with money and efforts poured in respectively by both parties. The elites or the buying party must understand and respect the efforts/skill/talent/creativity of the artist and the artist must respect the social and financial status of the class he is serving. This missing link and gap in lack of understanding have to be bridged to regain that “Rajashray” for the art. We at DiFi Digital Fashion Park Pvt. Ltd. are doing our level best to bridge this gap. For the last 5 years, we have undertaken various projects and used many elite platforms to put forward the problem and solution for restoring the lost glory of sustainable Indian fashion.
Our brand is built on the foundation of preserving and promoting traditional handloom techniques, which not only provide livelihoods for skilled artisans, but also help to keep ancient cultural practices alive.
